At Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD (UEN: 202335746N), your privacy and the protection of your data is our top priority. All data collected, both personal and non-personal, is protected with the highest global standards. As we believe your personal data is and should always remain yours, we have a strong privacy policy in place. This policy is fully compliant with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of the Singapore Statutes (“PDPA”). This Privacy Policy applies to the access and use of www.adaptiveaiventures.com and all its affiliated programs, products, services, applications, mobile and Web apps  (collectively called “we”, “us”, “the “platform” and “Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD”) and will assist you to understand how we collect, use, disclose and process any personal information. 

It is furthermore intended to help you in making an informed decision before providing us with any Personal Data. Before accessing, using, or interacting with the platform you should carefully review the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to and agree that we may collect, process, use, retain, share, and transfer your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. By accessing, registering with, uploading, downloading, subscribing to, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, including any updates thereto. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you should immediately refrain from using the platform. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies or practices of any of our members, third-party platforms, or third-party applications. 

Personal Data refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data (such as a combination of your name, contact details, date of birth, gender, identity card/passport number and e-mail address); or from that data and other information to which an organization has or is likely to have access.

Types Of Information Collected and Processes for collection

During creation of an account, the platform collects your  information such as name and email address. This information is used for evaluating your interaction with the platform, such as log information and device information. In addition, we aggregate this data to compute engagement rates on the platform as a whole. As a Player, there may be Projects in which Administrators request for Personal Data. Administrators are required to adhere to our Privacy Policy and take the same measures in protecting Personal Data of their Players as Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD would its users. That said, we always encourage due diligence before divulging Personal Data in any form, especially so on the platform where content is created independently by registered Administrators. Other than email services pertaining to the functionality of the platform, Adaptive AI Ventures will not use your email address to send you marketing collaterals, promotions or corporate communications unless you have expressly agreed to receive such material.

1. Content and Personal Data

Content and information submitted by users are referred to in this policy as “Content“. Here are some examples of Content: any data and content created, uploaded, posted, shared or otherwise made available by Administrators through the platform, and any data and content by Administrators, customers, users, partners, freelancers and contractors  including text, photos, sounds, music, videos, audiovisual combinations, interactive features, profile information and anything else entered or uploaded onto the platform. 

2. Personal Data

During creation of an account, the platform collects your name and email address. This information is used for evaluating your interaction with the platform, such as log information and device information. In addition, we aggregate this data to compute engagement rates on the platform as a whole. As a user, there may be Projects in which Administrators request for Personal Data. Administrators are required to adhere to our Privacy Policy and take the same measures in protecting Personal Data of their users as Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD would its users. That said, we always encourage due diligence before divulging Personal Data in any form, especially so on the Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD and it’s affiliates platform where content is created independently by registered Administrators. Other than email services pertaining to the functionality of the platform, Adaptive AI Ventures will not use your email address to send you marketing collaterals, promotions or corporate communications unless you have expressly agreed to receive such material.

Breakdown of the data points collected: 

Account creation information. 

Users provide information such as an email address and password to create an account. If you register via social media such as Google – Single Sign On (SSO), Apple- SSO,  Facebook- SSO and Microsoft – SSO or company provided SSO, you explicitly grant the platform access to any information you make public on your social media profile. Some of this collected user information may be publicly listed on the platform. This information is used for account creation and authentication on the platform. Additionally, names and email addresses may be accessible and downloadable to Administrators of Projects you have joined. 

Billing and other information. 

For Administrators who purchase a paid version of Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD, our corporate affiliates and third-party payment processors may collect and store your billing address and credit card information on our behalf. Our payment gateway information is strictly used for billing purposes only. 

Services usage information. 

This is information about how you are accessing and using Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD, which may include administrative and support communications with us and information about the Projects, people, features, content, links you interact with, and third-party integrations you use (if any). This information is used for internal evaluation on platform interaction patterns, engagement rates and analytics, which is downloadable by Administrators of Projects you have joined. This may also be used by Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD for research and development on the Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD product. In the event third parties are involved, all data points are anonymized and aggregated to protect your privacy. 

Contact information. 

With your permission, any contact information you choose to upload is collected when using the platform. This information is used only for communications between Adaptive AI Ventures and you and will not be used as a channel for marketing and corporate communications unless you have consented to being to receive such communications. This information is accessible by the platform and Administrators of Projects you have joined in which you provided this information. 

Log data. 

When you use the platform, our and our affiliates systems and Services will automatically record information, including information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website, or your mobile app sends when you are using it. This log data may include your Internet Protocol address, the address of the web page you visited before using the platform, your browser type and settings, the date and time of your use of the platform, information about your browser configuration and plug-ins, language preferences, and cookie data. This information is primarily used for internal purposes, such as establishing usage patterns, troubleshooting, interaction patterns and product development. This information may be shared with third parties to facilitate co-development or troubleshooting. In the event third parties are involved, all data points are anonymized and aggregated to protect your privacy. 

Device information. 

We may collect information about the device you are using the platform on, including what type of device it is, what operating system you are using, device settings, application IDs, unique device identifiers, and crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this information often depends on what type of device you are using and its settings. This information is primarily used for purposes, such as establishing usage patterns, troubleshooting, interaction patterns and product development. This information may be shared with third parties to facilitate co-development or troubleshooting. In the event third parties are involved, all data points are anonymized and aggregated to protect your privacy. 

Geo-location information. 

Precise GPS location from mobile devices is collected only with your permission. WiFi and IP addresses received from your browser or device may be used to determine approximate location. This information is used to enable certain functionalities of the platform. This information is also used for internal purposes, such as establishing usage patterns, troubleshooting, interaction patterns and product development. This information may be shared with third-parties to facilitate co-development or troubleshooting. In the event third parties are involved, all data points are anonymized and aggregated to protect your privacy. 

Services integrations. 

If, when using the platform, you integrate with a third-party service, we will connect that service to ours. The third-party provider of the integration may share certain information about your account with the platform. However, we do not receive or store your passwords for any of these third-party services. 

Third-party data. 

The platform may also receive information from affiliates in our corporate group, our partners, or others that we use to improve Adaptive AI Ventures. This might be aggregate level information, such as which IP addresses go with which zip codes, or it might be more specific information, such as the performance of an online marketing or email campaign. 

Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small piece of data placed on the hard drive of your computer to help us improve your access to the platform and to identify repeat visits to the platform. We also use cookies to track and target the interests of visitors to the platform and to otherwise enhance the experience on the platform. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of the platform. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to the platform. Usage of a cookie is not linked to any personal information on our site. 

The platform uses cookies and similar technologies, such as single-pixel gifs and web beacons, to record log data. We use both session-based and persistent cookies.  Session-based cookies last only while your browser is open and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last until you or your browser deletes them or until they expire. 

Some cookies are associated with your account and personal information in order to remember that you are logged in and which Projects you are a part of. Other cookies are not tied to your account but are unique and allow us to carry out site analytics and customization, among other similar things.  

Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD sets and accesses our own cookies on the domains operated by us and its corporate affiliates. In addition, we use third parties including but not limited to Google Analytics and Zendesk for website analytics. You may opt out of third-party cookies from these services by visiting their websites. We do not currently recognize or respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals as there is no consistent industry standard for compliance. 

How we use your Information:

We use your information to provide and improve the platform and for the purposes described in this policy. 

  1. Content: 

The platform may access and use Content as reasonably to: 

  • provide, maintain and improve the Platform; 
  • prevent or address service, security, technical issues or at an Administrator’s or Users request in connection with customer support matters; 
  • comply with the law; 

 

  1. Other information: 

To understand and improve the platform: 

We conduct research and analyse trends to gain a deeper insight into user interactions with the platform and enhance our services based on feedback. 

To communicate with you by: 

  • Responding to your requests – If you contact us with a problem or question, we will use your information to respond. 
  • Sending emails and Platform-related messages – We may send you emails and messages as necessary for the full functionality and performance of the platform as intended. Additionally, we may reach out to you to inform you about changes in the platform, offerings, and important notices, such as security and fraud notices. These emails and messages are considered part of the platform. 

Billing and account management: 

We use account data to administer accounts and keep track of billing and payments. This information is also used to communicate with you for invoicing and payment matters. 

Marketing and corporate communications: 

We may need to contact you for marketing and corporate communications such as product updates, new offerings and promotions. Upon your explicit consent, we may send marketing collaterals or for advertising purposes. You can also retract your consent to receiving any of these at any time. 

Security and keeping your information safe: 

We work hard to keep the platform secure and to prevent abuse and fraud. From time to time, your information may be accessed by personnel of the platform to facilitate this process. 

Other: 

  • to fulfill any other purpose for which it was provided, 
  • to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, 
  • to allow for participation in interactive features on our Platform, and 
  • in any other way we may describe when the information is collected or provided, or any other purpose with your consent or other valid legal basis. 

 

Yous Rights and Choices:

Rights: 

Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD  seeks to ensure all individuals are provided with the rights mandated by their governing jurisdiction. Not all of the rights herein will apply to each individual data subject and may not apply to you depending upon the laws applicable to you. 

Regardless of your jurisdiction, if you would like to manage, change, limit, or delete your personal information, you may do so by contacting us. Upon request, and where possible, we will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information and the information we hold about you. In certain cases where we process your information, you may also have a right to restrict or limit the ways in which we use your personal information. In certain circumstances, you also have the right to request the deletion of your personal information, and to obtain a copy of your personal information in an easily accessible format. 

European Union and United Kingdom Rights 

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (referred to as a “Data Subject”), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) grant you additional rights concerning the usage of your personal information. This section is presented in accordance with GDPR and UK GDPR.  

This section outlines how we collect, share, disclose, and process the personal information of individuals residing in the European Union and the United Kingdom. Personal information encompasses any data pertaining to a recognized or recognizable natural person (referred to as a ‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is someone who can be identified, either directly or indirectly, notably through an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more specific factors related to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person. This includes all “personal information” mentioned in this Policy. 

Specific rights you possess as a resident of the EU or UK regarding the personal information we hold about you, which you may exercise under certain circumstances. These rights include: 

Access 

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we have on record about you. 

Portability 

If we maintain your personal information based on your consent or to fulfil a contractual obligation with you, you can request the personal information you provided to us, which is necessary for the contract or for delivering member benefits, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. 

Correction 

If you believe that your personal information is inaccurate, you may request that we correct, amend, or delete any inaccurate or incomplete data. 

Deletion or Restriction of Processing 

You can ask us to erase or limit the processing of your personal information. 

Object to Processing 

In specific circumstances where we process your personal information for our legitimate interests, you have the right to object to such processing. 

Right to Complain 

You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially in the European member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement if you believe that the processing of your personal information infringes on your rights. 

Withdraw Consent 

If we process your personal information based on your consent, you have the option to withdraw that consent at any time. 

 

 

We only process personal information when there is a valid legal basis, which may include: 

  • Your consent for processing, consistent with this Policy, including advertising purposes disclosed in this Policy. 
  • Necessity to fulfil our obligations to you or fulfil a request you have made. 
  • Compliance with a legal obligation. 
  • Pursuing our legitimate interests, provided you have given any required explicit or implicit consent, such as protecting our platform’s security, enhancing its functionality, or providing information about products you’ve expressed interest in. 

If we process your information based on our legitimate interests or in the public interest, you can object to this processing in certain situations. In such cases, we will stop processing your information unless we have strong legitimate grounds to continue processing or if it is required for legal reasons. If we use your data for direct marketing, you can always object by using the unsubscribe link in such communications or by adjusting your account settings if you have registered for a Platform Account. However, please note that you cannot opt-out of Platform-related communications, such as account verification, changes or updates to platform features, or technical and security notifications. 

Should you have provided consent for specific data processing, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Withdrawing consent will not affect the legality of our use of your personal data up to the point of withdrawal. 

If we require processing of your personal information to fulfil our obligations to you, failing to provide this data will prevent us from performing those obligations. In cases where we collect your personal information for one purpose and need to process it for a secondary purpose, we will provide you with additional information regarding this secondary purpose to ensure fair and transparent processing before proceeding with further processing. 

Choices: 

Content: 

Administrators may control your access to the platforms, enable or disable third-party integrations, vote, share, and moderate User Completions and User Comments and these choices and instructions may result in the access, use, disclosure, modification, or deletion of certain or all Content. 

Invitations to the platform: 

When an Administrator invites someone to join the platform through a Project, the Administrator’s name will be disclosed in the invitation message sent to the email address of the invited individual. This information is necessary to ensure the invitee knows who has contacted them, and to ensure that the invitee knows the invitation has been sent by a trusted person in order to make an informed decision to join the Project. 

Deleting of personal information: 

At any given time, if you do not wish to share your information, you may delete your account by: 

You will be required to specify the email address registered to your account, full name, and any additional information to facilitate identification and deletion of your Personal Data. 

Our Data Protection Officer will contact you regarding your request. 

By deleting your account, all personal information associated with your profile including but not limited to name, address, phone number, credit card details will be permanently deleted 

Any other information: 

If you have any questions about your information, our use of this information, your rights or anything pertaining to your data and how its managed, reach out to us at [email protected]. 

Other choices:  

In addition, the browser you use may provide you with the ability to control cookies or other types of local data storage. Your mobile device may provide you with choices around how and whether location or other data is collected and shared. The platform does not control these choices, or default settings, which are offered by makers of your browser or mobile device operating system. 

 

Sharing and disclosing of your information

In certain circumstances Adaptive AI Ventures may share some of the information described in this policy. Although we maintain a high standard of data protection, we do not have control over the manner in which Administrators or their third-party entities decide to share or reveal Content. 

Content: 

We may share anonymized and aggregated Content with parties including: 

  • Third-party service providers and agents. We may engage third-party companies or individuals such as consultancies or training providers to process Content. 
  • Third-party integrations. We may, on an Administrator’s behalf, share Content with the provider of an integration added by the Administrator. We are not responsible for how the provider of an integration may collect, use, and share Content as this is subject to the privacy policies of those providers. 
  • Sposor or Employeer . We may, on your Sponsor or companies request, share Content with them. We are not responsible for how the Sponsor or Employeer may collect, use, and share Content as this is subject to the privacy policies of those entities.  

Other information: 

We may share other information as follows: 

  • About Users with the Administrator. There may be times when you, as a Player, will contact Adaptive AI Ventures PTE LTD to help resolve an issue specific to a Project you have joined. In order to help resolve the issue, we may anonymize and share your concerns with the related Administrator(s). Alternatively, we may advise you to contact the Administrator(s) directly. 
  • With third-party service providers and agents. We may engage third-party companies or individuals, such as third-party payment processors, to process information on our behalf. Any Personal Data that is being shared with third-party service providers and/or agents is clearly communicated to you through our Privacy Policy and will not be used for purposes other than what has been expressed. 
  • With affiliates. We may engage affiliates in our corporate group to process other information. All Personal Data will be anonymized and aggregated. 

Other types of disclosure: 

  • During changes to our business structure. This includes but is not limited to a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, sale of some or all of Our assets, financing, acquisition of all or a portion of our business, a similar transaction or proceeding, or steps in contemplation of such activities (e.g. due diligence). In the event of the above, we will contact you and inform you of the impending data transfer and we will also provide a reasonable timeframe for you to opt-out and withdraw your Personal Data if you so choose. 
  • To comply with laws. To adhere to legal or regulatory requirements and to respond to lawful requests, court orders and legal proceedings. 
  • To enforce the rights of all stakeholders, prevent fraud and for safety. To protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Adaptive AI Ventures, our users or third-parties, including enforcing contracts or policies, or in connection with investigating and preventing fraud. 
  • At times we may disclose or use anonymized and aggregated information; for instance, information may be shared with our partners or affiliates for business or research purposes involving data points such as the average number of Innovation Challenges completed within a Project in a day, or partnering with research firm or academics to explore questions about gamification. 

 

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. When you submit personal information via the Platform, we take measures designed to ensure your information is protected. We also protect your information offline. We limit access to personal information to employees who need the information to perform a specific job. The systems, servers, cloud infrustrucutre or platforms on which we store personal information are kept in a secure environment. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Please do not to share your password with anyone. 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is always subject to security vulnerabilities. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Platform. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Platform. 

Links & Thirds Parties

The Platform contain links to other websites, including sites controlled by third parties independent of us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the contents of such websites. We encourage you to read the privacy notices of such websites before providing any personal information to them. We do not take responsibility for the opinions of third parties expressed on or through our platform. 

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may change this policy from time to time and if we do, we will post any changes on this page and in certain circumstances, a notification will be made available to you informing you of the changes. If you continue to use the platform after those changes are in effect, you agree to the revised policy. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable e-mail address for you, and for periodically visiting our Platform and this Privacy Notice to check for any changes.
